
The NDC Regional Communication Officer for Upper West Region, Issah Kantangyere Bonsingmwine, has sent a strong warning to party communicators who tarnish the image of the party on grounds of personal dissatisfaction.
He made this comment during a training session for NDC communicators at Jirapa, Sisters Convent Hall, on Sunday, March 19, 2023.
The training brought the Member of Parliament for Jirapa Constituency, Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah to add his experience in party communication.
Other notable personalities included the Jirapa Constituency Chairman, David Yeng, Deputy Upper West Regional Secretary Alhaji Nurah Danwaana, the Deputy Regional Organizer Mr. Prince Mahmood, and former Regional Communication Officer, Mr. Puo-ire Prosper.
Others included the Jirapa Constituency Secretary, Hon. To-ang N. N Peter, Jirapa Communication Officer and Deputy, Deputy Constituency Secretary, Zongo Caucas Cordinator and many others.
The regional communication officer among other things expressed his disgust towards communicators who rather work against the progress of the party.
He made it clear that the main business of party communicators is to defend the party and its policies.
“The business of every party communicator is to defend the party and its policies at all times”.
According to him, the party will make sure that the constitution is used against communicators who contravene the rules embedded in it.
He added that the appropriate sanctions would be employed on disgruntled communicators who go against what the constitution mandates.
He called on communicators to use the appropriate channels to settle all disagreements and concerns.
The workshop provided an opportunity for general discussions and strategies to winning the 2024 elections.
In deed, many claim that the signs are very clear that power would switch hands after the 2024 elections.
This workshop was organized by the Constituency Communication Officer and Deputy Communication Officer, Hon. Vitalis N-ekabong and Mr. Hamza Osman.
