The Upper West Regional Election Committee through Mr. Seth Boyoyo has urged The New Patriotic party to use consensus in getting a women’s organizer after the party failed to elect one on the 28th of May 2022.
According to the Committee’s Organizer, The Women Organizer will not be sworn inn today 28th May 2022, consensus building according to Mr. Seth is part of democracy, the new leadership will be left to address it, we will do the Swearing inn without the two
Seth Boyoyo, Chairman of Organization of the Election Committee added.
There were 242 delegates at the conference voters were 242 all ballot papers are 300.
Two Aspirants Nancy Dery and Minata Mumuni Polled 76 votes each, a reason no women’s Organizer was elected, Other aspirants who contested in that position Including Mieri Yakubu and Diana Puopelle both polled 29 and 61 votes respectively.
