His Excellency the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Today, 3rd March, 2023 awarded 72 Junior High School Graduates who excelled in the 2021 and 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examinations. There are two winners of the Presidential Award, male and female, from each of the Sixteen regions for each B.E.C.E. Year.
Incidentally, both winners of the enviable Award for the year 2022 for the Upper West Region are from the same school – Fongo Islamic JHS. They are the white shirted boy and girl in the picture below. They were hosted by the Right Hon. Speaker of Parliament, Alban S. K. Bagbin in his office.
