The Price of Poultry Eggs have dropped from ₵45 per crate to Gh₵37 per crate at some wholesale shops and farms in the Upper West Region.

Speaking to Mr. Joseph Kaningenye, he said the Development was necessary because today’s market is one which is competitive, the former News Reporter of Radio Progress indicated that cost of Maize was their problem and other inputs they add to the Poultry feed but continued that with all that, he still calculated and realised selling at Ghc37 per crate won’t be a bad idea.

He urged interested buyers to call him directly for delivery to be made to them before payment.

Price of Eggs have shot up assiduously within the last 4 months and the Developments have been blamed on cost of Maize and fuel for transportation of Poultry feed.

Price of fuel and maize have dropped significantly in the past 10 weeks with a litre of patrol selling at Ghc12.4 away from Previous Ghc17.99.
