A Non Profit Organization in the Upper West Region by Name Hajia Humu Foundation has called on Business Owners to Work towards reducing prices of Goods and services within the Upper West Region and other parts of Ghana.

In a statement released by the CEO, Hajia Humu Awudu on her Social media handle, on 12th December 2022, she suggested that the dollar and other accompanying factors such as fuel prices have dropped and as a result warranted a price fall in prices of commodities in the Market.

“Now that the dollar and fuel is shooting down can we get some price adjustment!”

Price of Patroleum products have gone down at the pumps with the exception of Engine oil, the dollar which was also trading at Ghc15 to $1 has dropped down significantly to Ghc7 to a Dollar in Major Banks such as the Ghana Commercial Banks. Meanwhile the Bank of Ghana has kicked against the Use of Google as a determiner for Currency exchange rates.
