The Upper West Regional Secretary of New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Tanko Daniel Dauda has in a unanimous decision with other Regional Party executives directed party members and other party executives to stay away from the President’s Tour in the Region.

He made these pronouncements at Upland hotel on the 17th of August 2022.

According to the Secretary, The Development is as a result of Decision by the Regional Minister to Exclude the Regional Executives in Organization of the program geared towards the president’s visit.
He added that the the Regional Minster’s actions were clandestine.

“the Minister has indicated that the visit of the President is official and not political and that Explains the treatment he is giving to party executives, in conclusion, the regional Executives committee has decided that since the Minster says the visit is not political and all his actions shows same, party members are advices to stay away and allow the Minister and his officials to carryout their official visit”.
