The Assembly Member for Tawonchel Electoral Area in the Wa West District, Mr. Kumah Maxwell, has called on benevolent non-governmental organizations and philanthropic individuals to come to their aid in support of developmental projects in the community.
According to him, poor road networks, lack of kindergarten (KG) in the electoral area, and inadequate health infrastructure among others are hampering smooth life and development.
Speaking at the community during the commissioning of a hand-pump borehole by Sahara Advocates of Change (SAC), under the US Embassy Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Program, he appealed to the people to continue to support them while calling on other organizations to come and support the electoral area.
Some of the residents are also lamenting about the lack of a school feeding programme at the basic school and the inability of pupils to access formal education during rainy season.
