Emmanuel Daanuba Sunkari graduated with Cumulative weighted average of 96.69%

Dr. Emmanuel Daanuba Sunkari is a son of the Soil from Upper West Region who has made Ghana and upper west Region proud in Turkey’s Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University.

He is a native of Jang in the Nadowli-Kaleo District and The first Ghanaian to have graduated with PhD today from one of the finest Universities in Turkey (Niğde Omer Halisdemir University)
with a Cumulative weighted average of 96.69% Unprecedented The highest
ever recorded in the university.

He has since also made 37 scientific
publications in international journals with over 530 citations putting Ghana on the map and could possibly be the first to have attained this height in the history of Ghana at the age of 32yrs.

He Graduated from St. Andrews Cathedral School, Wa in 2005 with his Basic Certification, Proceeded to Nandom SHS and Graduated in 2008, he also obtained his basic Tertiary Education at Mugla Sitki Kocman Universitesi where he obtained an MSC In Geological Engineering.

He is currently a Lecturer with University of Mines and Technology.

Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University is a public higher educational institution located in Niğde, Central Anatolia in Turkey. It has six faculties, two institutes, two colleges and six vocational colleges. The university campus is situated 6 km southwest of Niğde. The University was founded in 1992.
