The Upper West Region Has gotten a new head of 10 Mechanized Battalion Force to Replace Col. Francis Kwasi Gyimah, the Outgoing Colonel was at the Wa Naa’s Palace to bid him farewell before proceeding to his new office at the Headquarters in Accra.

He will be replaced by Lt. Col. Acheampong after he has officially handed over.

The Duo were at the Wa Naa’s Palace According to Wa Naa’s Secretary, Jimpenhi Naa Kadri Ibrahim on Wednesday 13th September 2023.

Statement

The Outgoing Commanding Officer of the 10 Mechanized Battalion Force in Wa, Col. Francis Kwasi Gyimah, paid a Courtesy Call on the Wa Naa this afternoon. He introduced Lt. Col. Acheampong to His Majesty as his successor in the Battalion as he also proceeds to the Military Headquarters on a new role.
