Master Fabia Sotenga, Senior Prefect of the Wa Methodist School for the Blind, has expressed appreciation to Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur for donating a ram and two bags of rice to the school. He said providing food and other logistics to students of the school motivated them to study. The Senior Prefect further appealed to benevolent organisations and individuals to come to their aid and support them with their basic needs. “Hunger is an enemy, we cannot study without food. When we are satisfied, we are motivated to learn hard and we need this support to enable us to accomplish our aims,” he said. Mr Issahaku Nuhu Putiah, the Wa Municipal Chief Executive, presented the items to the school on behalf of the Vice President. He said the Vice President was in Upper West recently to inaugurate 64 Community Based Health Planning and Service CHPS Compounds but was pressed for time and could not come to the school to donate the items.
