A Journalist and Host of Maaliyiri Program on Radio Mak, Mr Mujeeb Rahman has indicated that Defilement suspect, Mr. Rashid Anaata had gone Into hiding and cannot be reached to get his side of the Story.

Speaking at Radio Mak on Thursday 25th May 2023, Mr Mujeeb Indicated that efforts were made to call  Anaata on his Phone Number but the Number has been Switched Off.

“We Called his phone Number, I personally did that but the line was switched off, he promised to speak to us on our program but his line isn’t going through…”

Meanwhile some details from close sources have revealed that the suspect is currently seeking refuge in Tamale the Northern Regional Capital of Ghana.

Section 101, subsection 2 further states that whoever naturally or unnaturally carnally knows any child under 16, whether with or without his or her consent commits an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to imprisonment for a term of not less than seven years and not more than 25 years.
