The Upper West Regional Police Command has indicated that the ban on movement of tricycles after 10pm is still in for week after the directive was set by the former Regional Police Commander, DCOP Peter Ndekugri in September.

Anombugri Ndekugri, the decision is a
stringent measure to bridge emergency security lapses as a result of emergency situation in the Wa Municipality.
The Police PRO, Chief Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng Revealed that the directive will be reviewed in due course after a close door meeting has been held with stakeholders including the Municipal and Regional Security Council.
“Yes it’s in Force, it will be reviewed but after a close door meeting has been held”.
ACP Gabriel Waahu is currently the Acting Upper West Regional Commander of Police.
