The Wa Circuit Court has sentenced a Young Man by name Tinaanye Sung Dodoo for Fraudulent Breach of Trust Contrary to Section 128 of the Criminal and Other Offenses Act 29/60.

BRIEF FACTS: Complainant Augustine Darko is a driver and resides
al Sefwi Wiawso, in the Western North Region whilst the accused person Tinaanye Sung Dodoo is a Business man residing at Wapaani, a suburb of Wa.

In the year 2016, the complainant senior brother by name Anthony Darko entrusted two salon cars namely
Dodge Caliber valued GHc25,0O0.00 and Honda Civic valued
Gh¢20,000.00 all totalled Ghc45,000,00 into the care of the accused to offer for sale.

The accused sold both cars and gave part payment of Ghc10,000.00 to the complainant and refused to pay the balance of GH¢35,000.00 in the pretence to defraud the complainant. He told the complainant that he sold the Honda Civic at GH¢20,000.00 but the buyer did not pay in full, and also the Dodge Caliber got Missing.

Investigations revealed that the accused person sold both cars and squander the money. The buyer of the Honda Civic was
contacted by the Police and he told Police that he bought the said
car and paid it in full.

During interrogations and cautioning, the accused person admitted the offence and after investigations he
was charged and arraigned before court.

The Accused was fined 150 penalty by the Wa Circuit Court on 3rd of May 2023 or in default Serve 6 Months in Prison.
