Upper West Regional Public Relations Unit, Headed By Chief Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng has Issued a Statement concerning a dead body exhumed at T.I Ahmadiyya JHS Block B on the 16th of June 2022 by some students and Staff of the School.

The Body was partly buried with part of it covered with leaves when a student of the school noticed the development.

Statement from the Police

“UNKNOWN DEAD BODY

The Upper West Regional Police Command, requests for information from the general public to aid identify a male adult believed to be in his thirties (30’s), who was found shallowly buried on the premises of T.I
Ahmadiyya Junior High School near SSNIT Residential Area/Wa on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at about 2:00pm.

Police proceeded to the scene together with other stakeholders. The body was subsequently exhumed and sent to the Regional Hospital-Wa and was confirmed dead on arrival by the Medical Officer on duty.

Subject is dark in complexion, tall, slim and stands at about 6 feet 3 inches tall.

The general public is hereby advised to volunteer credible information to the Police to unearth the supposed unnatural death of the deceased.

The public is also implored to contact the Municipal Police CID or call on emergency numbers 02992041 10 or 0299204126 for assistance.”
