The Upper West Regional Chapter of Ghana Journalist Association headed by Sualah Abdul Wahab has opened room for donations to be made in support of Morris Banaanwine after he was involved in an Accident on 9th July 2023. He was Referred to Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital from the Upper West Regional Hospital.

The Donations as at 7pm, 10th July 2023 from some concerned people was a little over Ghc1,400 with Dr. Jasaw, MP for Wa East Constituency Donating a little above Ghc600, Some Other Names including Alexis Anzagira, Digme Robert also Donated to the Course.

Chief Executive Officer of Radio Waa Media, Alhaji Alhassan Gbangu Directed Management of his Station to Support Morris Banaanwine with Ghc10,000 for his treatment.

Very sad news! Was told this evening by Fuzzy Labadi camp president. Much as I am disappointed that I wasn’t informed earlier. In fact, it’s about his life now. No blame game! As a part time employee of Radio waa.

I have directed management of Radio Waa to help with Ghc10,000 immediately and subsequent bills shall be paid as well . I have informed owners of this statement to distance us from their funds raising. We are capable of helping our beloved employee. Thanks
