The District Chief Executive of Wa East, Dr. Ewura Kandia Suleman has begun processes to connect Dupari community to the National Grid.

The Process started two day ago on Monday, 10th October 2022.

He was accompanied around the community located close to Bulenga, Westwards or the District by the The Assembly Member for Dupari, Hon. Atawulahi Kanmintanye.

The Assembly Member in 2021 appealed to the District Assembly to Support the Community with Electricity in order to facilitate the growth of some businesses to speed up developments generally.

He stated that some Residents have to commute miles in order to charge their phones.

Today, I sent workers to begin Dupari electricity project. It was a dream come through to them but to me, it marks the beginning of the many good things I have for them. So help me God.
