
A new college of Education has been established in Manwe, a farming community in the Wa East District of Upper West.
The Islamic school identified as Aswaj Islamic College of Education offers Basic Education and Early Childhood programs which seeks to equip its students with the requisite skills to be employed by The Ghana Education Service.
The school has no accommodation facilities at the moment according to checks but management is hopeful government will assist to make the institution which is an Islamic institution a dream of education students.
The school has opened its doors for admissions into it.
Residents of Manwe in the Wa East District Described the initiative as a welcoming one which will in the long round boost trade and development in the area.
