Former Upper West Regional Minister, Mr. Mahmoud Khalid

A former Upper West Regional Minister, Mr. Mahmoud Khalid has delivered a message pertaining to the impending NDC internal elections set for 13th of May 2023.

The Message was about delegates creating differences amongst themselves to the extend of insulting opponents in order to deliver their campaign messages.

He cautioned delegates against such Developments urging them to be diplomatic in the course of executing their campaign.

“I’m using this occasion on behalf of Elders of the NDC Party that has the Regional Chairman and the Constituency Chairman to appeal to Alhaji Hudu Mogtari and his team to go ahead With their campaign with decorum because what they are out to do now is an in house fight and we do not want situations where it will be murky to the extent that we may find it difficult to come together to do the real campaign for the 2024 elections so our appeal is that we should respect each other as a team, respect other contestants let us be mindful of the sensibilities of all other aspirants but that does not mean you should not give the message that you have a message that will let the delegates vote for who ever you want to lead this party in Wa Central to do that for us by asking you to go fo decorum, it does not mean you shouldn’t send that message which will let the delegates know that you are the ones, that one we can do without insults, so we thank you so much for this Donation that has been given us, it was least expected at this time…”

He Made the Statements at Kpaguri During a Donation Exercise by a parliamentary aspirant Alhaji Hudu Mogtari to the Party. The Aspirant donated a Brand New Pick-up with Registration Number GR-1211-23 to the Party.
