
The Former Wa Central Constituency Chairman, Ali Kumbampuo Kamara is set to contest in the Regional NPP Race after losing in the Constituency Chairmanship elections.
The Former Wa Central Chairman occupied his position as chairman for 12years before he lost in the elections held on 30th of April 2022.
He was ousted by majority of the party delegates after he polled 341 votes whilst his successor, Hamid Osuman, a Professional Teacher with Ghana Education Service Polled 558 votes.
Mr. Kamara after meeting with some Delegates and The Upper West Regional Minister assured the party of his support despite losing by a wide margin.
The former Chairman is set to go for either of the Vice Regional Chairmanship Position or Second Vice Chairman Position, he has not settled on whether to go for Region 1st Vice or Second Vice Per the source.
