An Award winning Journalist and Manager of Radio Waa Media in the Wa Municipality was involved in an Accident on 9th July 2023 on JJ Rawlings High Street.
He was rushed to the Upper West Regional Hospital for Treatment immediately after the incident.
The Upper West Regional Chapter of Ghana Journalist Association has released a Statement giving details about Morris Banaanwine’s Condition and the next step they are taking.
Hello people of the Upper West Region.
We, the media in the Upper West Region are appealing to the public for financial support in aid of our colleague, Morris Banaamwine. He was involved in a motor accident in Wa on July 9 2023. Morris has been referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital from the Upper West Regional Hospital for surgery and treatment. The surgery and treatment are expected to cost several thousands of Ghana Cedis. We are by this appealing for financial support for our brother, Morris to enable him to cater for the emergency at Konfo Anokye.
No support is too small.
