A Business Man in Kambali has apprehended a young man he spotted on a CCTV footage Allegedly stealing solar panels.

According to Eyewitnesses, the young man took the panels around 9am today, 26th August 2022. They added that, the Suspect took them to a place behind Maxixco gardens annex, the Suspect claimed the panels were hidden and directed him to the hideout but the owner couldn’t find the panels, they brought him back to the Shop located close to the Junction of Seidu Tendana Street in Kambali.

Efforts were put in place to convince the suspect in order to get the solar panels from him but he resisted.

The Shop Owner who happens to be the victim of appropriation stated that a panel costs not less than Ghc3,000.

Some other Residents of the area claimed the Suspect had stolen a Haojue Motorbike belonging to a Prisons Officer.

The have made arrangements to hand him over to the police.
