The Wa Municipal Assembly in partnership with residents of Kpongu have begun executing road projects in Kpongu, an Electoral area with at least 1,200 Residents.

The Community is surrounded by two Universities Including the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University and the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS).

Residents of the Community few months ago called upon the Municipal Assembly to assist them by constructing roads in the area, they specifically demanded for a road to link their Community to Bamahu a Community that is close yet far due to the deplorable and inaccessible nature of some foot paths they use to and from the community (Bamahu).

Assembly Member for the Area, Hon. Kawabdeen Shaibu commended the Assembly for the move to ensure there is rapid development in his Electoral Area.

Two roads have been created at the West Section of the Community.
