Kidnapping is becoming Rampant in Wa

Based on the incessant killings in Wa, several Stakeholders in some security agencies have Advocated for Residents in Wa to prioritize the purchase of Close circuit Television cameras for their houses to beef up security.

Two Security Men were killed, two theirs were Kidnapped and cannot be traced whilst a yet to be identified man was also killed and buried close to T.I Ahmadiyya JHS with some parts missing.

A security Man was almost killed by unknown assailant close to SDA Junior High School in Kpaguri.

All the developments occured in areas without CCTV Cameras installed in either the Institutions or houses.

The assailant have resorted to executing their tasks at the outskirts of Wa avoiding the heart of town and areas with CCTV Cameras.

Some concerned residents of Wa have urged colleague residents who can afford to install CCTV cameras in order to be able to trace back for records and videoplaybacks when the need arises for such Information.

Checks revealed that CCTV Cameras cost between Ghc1700 to Ghc5,000 in parts of Wa Municipality.

CCTV Cameras are ICT Tools used in recording Information for future reference.
