Thousands of Muslims in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region, at the weekend, defied the scotchy sun to observe Eid prayer at the Naa Sidiki Bomi ii Park led by Imam Alhaji Yahaya Ahmed Tijaani Nanjo.

The numbers recorded at the prayer ground indicated that there is more unity within the Islamic Umah in the municipality under the leadership of the Wa Central Mosque Chief Imam, Imam Alhaji Yahaya Ahmed Tiani Nanjo.

The indication was observed based on the numbers that attended the Eid prayer which included some prominent personalities in the municipality such as, the Wa Central Member of Parliament (MP), the Wa Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Wa Naa and leadership of all the major political parties in the municipality.
