The Upper West Regional Police Command during their routine Investigations at crime scenes picked up sandals of a Suspect currently on the run after he had attempted taking the life of a security Man at Child Support Ghana Foundation’s Ophanage Home.

The Incident Occured early hours, 9th Of September 2022.

According to an eyewitness [name Withheld], she overhead the security Man shouting for help and as a result, came out of her room only to see a man squatting behind a pavilion in the Yard of the Orphanage Home, in an attempt to shout and draw closer, the Suspect took to his heels and jumped over a wall to escape.

Per checks around the facility it was discovered that sandals of the Suspect were left outside close to the roadside as at dawn.

The police in their assessment of the environment picked up the sandals for further Investigations.

The victim of attempted assassination who is also a targeted security Man has been admitted at the Upper West Regional Hospital for treatment after he had Sustained severe Injuries on his jaw.

Serial Killings in Wa have become rampant resulting in in fear and panic amongst Residents.

Some Nigerian Business Men and women have been Attacked in the Municipality with  their business goods looted by some irate youth in Wa Township.

The Chief of Igbo Community in Wa, Mr. Chikah Francis has Advocated for calm and urged youth to use the police if Residents want to search their houses.
