A Long Vehicle Loaded with Tubers of Yam and heading Northwards through the Nayiri Insurance Road had diverged from the main road into the territory of the Upper West Regional Police Station and in the process Almost Destroyed the wall and some properties.

The incident occurred On the 5th of September 2022 at about 10:30pm in the presence of Some police officers on duty and Residents of the Area.
The vehicle had exploded a tyre in the process.
Speaking to the drivers mate, he explained that the curve is to large, a reason the driver couldn’t go round exclusively, he added that the Development has led to loss of Revenue because the tyre which has exploded costs not less than Ghc3,000.

The Police Roundabout is a location that has been in place for over 3 decades, the round about has led to vehicles swiveling due to ambiguous road signs and the size of the round about resulting is long truck heading to Burkina Faso and Mali missing their way and rather finding themselves heading towards Tumu.

Several vehicle tyres have also exploded in the process of going about the police roundabout.
