The Municipal Chief Executive of Wa has assured Wa Polytechnic of his readiness to fix the institution’s roads.
He announced that a contractor has been assigned the task to fix the roads within the shortest possible time.
He met formally with the Acting Rector Mr. Iddrisu Nmenipuo and other staff of the school. They went round some sections with the Municipal Chief Executive.
Statement
The internal roads of Wa Polytechnic have been awarded to a contractor, Yin Construction Ltd for tarring. Management had fruitful discussions with the contractor and the Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin, this morning.
The sod cutting ceremony for commencement of work is scheduled to take place in a fortnight.
We wish to commend the Municipal Chief Executive for his efforts thus far.
The streets of Wa Polytechnic have had its electricity challenges addressed with its lightening improved with some street lights mounted by the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin, few days before the commencement of road construction in the Institution.
These are measures being put in place to convert the institution into a Technical University in 2020.
