Upper West Police PRO, Chief Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng

The Upper West Regional Public Relations Office of Ghana Police Service has informed the media that a young girl aged 23years previously declared missing has been found in the Upper East Region.

Chief Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng has however declined to give details as to exactly the town or community she was found.

Background

The Upper West Regional Police Command, requests for information from the general public to aid trace a 23 year old girl Ganiuma Osman who

left home unceremoniously at Dobile, a suburb of Wa on Friday, May 6, 2022 at about 10:00 am and has since not returned. She is fair in complexion, stands at about 6 feet 2 inches tall, slim, speaks Waale and English and was last seen dressed in a straight African wax print over a brown pair of sandals.

All efforts made by her relatives to trace her proved futile, hence the public is entreated to assist in reuniting her with the family.
