The Grassroots of Wa Central Constituency’s National Democratic Congress (NDC), have gone all out on various platforms including some party constituency executives over a vehicle donation made to the Constituency by Alhaji Hudu Mogtari.

Some Individuals have expressed mixed opinions on whose image should be branded on the donated pickup.

After the internal elections, the Donor’s picture was on the vehicle but after the elections, decisions were taken to replace the picture of Alhaji Hudu Mogtari with Dr. Rashid Pelpuo and John Dramani Mahama.

This was met with Fierce Resistance by some sections of the Grassroot sympathizers of Alhaji Hudu Mogtari.

The Vehicle was Donated on 4th of May 2023 at Kpaguri, a Suburb of Wa Municipality in the presence of Former Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Mahmud Khalid, Regional NDC Chairman, Abdul Saani Nasir, Constituency Chairman Alhaji Famina etc.

“Why are you insisting AHM pictures be taken off the vehicle?”

Posted on Monday 3rd July 2023 after the Deputy NDC communication Officer of Wa Central, Mr. Kotie Bitis Nurideen, The Communication Officer Indicated that the Parliamentary Aspirant of the NDC, Mr. Hudu Mogtari’s Donation to the Party is for the development of the Party and not sole property of Hudu Mogtari after it was donated. His comments didn’t go down well with some party faithfuls of Wa Central.

“The bitterness is no longer ordinary. This is witchcraft at full gear 😂. You guys decieved him that buying a pickup 🛻 and donating it to the constituency will do the magic. You were promised that after primaries all campaign posters will be removed and our energies geared towards projecting our PC elect and JM to win 2024 elections. What has changed ? 😂”

Some Party Executives including the Upper West Regional Director of Elections, Mr. Ishmail Dibkuu has called for calm amongst the Grassroot.
