Police in Wa on Friday evening June 14, 2019 gunned down a nigerian man and arrested another who were spotted by a woman (name withheld) perforating a hole on her house and in her quest to know their motive she was attacked by the two men with cuttlasses they were using.

An onlooker who came to the rescue of the woman was equally attacked and he managed to run to the police station and reported the case.

Abdallah Dan Hassan reports that, the police who came to the scene were equally attacked with the cutlasses and upon sensing danger they fired at them and one was reported dead upon arrival at the Upper West government hospital.The other Nigerian has been put into police custody

Meanwhile, the Regional Police Command has confirmed the incident to http://www.myradiowaa.com and has since launched an investigation into the matter and will address the media after completing it’s investigation.
