Wa Polytechnic was recently on the media for the issue of the school going on strike which affected academic activities of the school.

The students on Friday had a press conference at Sim B lodge where a lot of media houses were present including Tv3, Wfm 93.5, Radio Progress 98.1, Upper West Media, GBC and many more.

The students expressed their displeasure about how issues are going in the noble institution and said government should do their possible best  to come into the issue for it is bringing the polytechnic to its knees.

The teachers returned to duty on Friday 22nd January 2015, Student attendance was low on Friday But By Monday We Expect An Improvement.
