Mr. Issahaku Suleman, Former CPP Parliamentary Candidate of Wa

A Former Parliamentary candidate for CPP in the Wa Central Constituency, Mr. Issahaku Suleman has Petitioned The Upper West Regional Lands Commission for Details of State Plots of Land sold within the Wa Municipality.

Mr. Issahaku Suleman indicated that plots of Land at Degu Residential Area belonging to Government have been sold out at prices below Ghc3000 in an Interview with Tinus Tuozie of Radio Waa.

The Letter was Officially received by the Land Commission on the 6th of September 2022.

Pursuant to the Right to Information Law, ACT 989 (2019), I humbly write to your office seeking information on the allocation and acquisition of public-vested lands situate within the Degu Residential Area in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region.

This letter of request seeks;

1. The number of plots of land that have been allocated by your outfit and subsequently acquired within this location since the year 2016
2. The names of the individuals, groups or institutions that acquired these lands or had these lands allocated to them.

3. How much was paid for each plot of land
4. Any other information that would be relevant and of interest to the general public.
