The Speaker of Parliament as part of Efforts to support his Alma Mata, Wa SHS has disbursed part of contract sum of Ghc10 million for construction of an assembly Hall for Wa Senior High School. According Mr. Ishaq Awudu, a special aid to the Rt. Hon. Speaker Alban Bagbin, he indicated that the project is to be completed in 12 months.

CONTRACTOR RECEIVES MOBILISATION PAYMENT FOR THE WA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ULTRA MODERN AUDITORIUM PROJECT

The Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament has caused for some mobilization payment to be made to the contractors undertaking the construction of the ultramodern auditorium he promised his alma mater the Wa Senior High School.

The payment which covers about forty percent (40%) of the entire project sum of Ten Million Cedis is undoubtedly a giant step towards the realization of the dream of giving the school a befitting Hall for the purposes of enhancing and improving upon the teaching and learning environment in the school.

The Wa Secondary School which remains one of the most popular and renowned second-cycle schools in the Upper West Region for having produced highly-placed people in society needs such interventions to produce many more others such as the Rt Hon Alban Bagbin who remains a global iconic figure in good governance, parliamentary practice and democracy.

The contractors is expected to deliver the project within one calendar year to enable the school celebrate its upcoming anniversary conveniently and befittingly.
