Rt Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament has promised to give the Wa Senior High School a befitting Dining Hall in the not too distant future.

This sumptuous pledge by the number three gentleman of the land followed his inspection tour 9f the ultramodern 2,000 capacity auditorium he is putting up for the school.

In his brief but insightful remarks to the students at the event, Mr Speaker assured the Headmaster,Staff and Students of plans to get the school a befitting Dining Hall as soon as the auditorium is completed and handed over.

Rt Hon Alban Bagbin recounted life in the school as a member of the pioneering badge who had to defy all manner of odds to pursue secondary education at the time and admonished the students to aspire to achieve more than he has done so far.

The Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament further intimated that he has always passionate about supporting Wa Secondary School and would stop at nothing to do that as far he has what it takes as he takes great pride in the solid foundation the school laid for him to excel in life.

SPEAKER TO GIFT WA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL A STATE OF THE ART PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM

The Speaker of Parliament has ordered for a state of the art Public Address System for Wa Senior High School.

The Rt Hon Alban Bagbin made the pledge and order during his address to students during an inspection tour of the 2,000 capacity auditorium he is funding for the school.

At a short interactive session woth the students and staff, the Speaker who noticed the difficulties accompanying the sound system being used at the program was compelled to instruct his team to make available a state of the art Public Address System to the school within one month.

This was met with a deafening applause by the students who beamed with smiles as a show of excitement and appreciation of the Rt Hon Speaker’s benevolent gesture towards the school yet again. It would he recalled that Rt Hon Alban Bagbin made a similar donation of a Public Address System to the Waala Traditional Council about a year ago.

He tasked the school authorities to maintain the system properly to preserve and prolong its life span to ensure value for money.

The Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament has always prioritized the needs of the Wa Secondary school where he had his Ordinary Level Education. He has made several timely donations to the school in the past and keep pledging to do more given time and resource availability.
