A suspected thief only identified as Nana Hamdan has been Lynched on 4th of April 2023 at Sombo Located in the Wa Municipality.
it’s believed that the suspect was Lynched Late hours of 4th April 2023 few meters from Queens Valley Hotel over a stolen goat.
Checks by upper West Media team revealed that the suspect hails from Kabanye, a Suburb of municipality and was set ablaze by some irate youth for stealing a goat the suspect has since been carried away by the police to the Wa Municipal Morgue for preservation and investigations. Efforts to hear from the assembly man of the area, Hon. Abu has proven futile.
Meanwhile, at the crime scene, a motorbike belonging to the suspect was set ablaze, some concrete blocks stained with blood were also spotted, it is yet to be confirmed whether he was assaulted physically with the concrete blocks or not.
He was a past Student of Wa Model JHS in the Wa Municipality.
