Farmers at Dole in Dabo Electoral Area, Wa West District are appealing to the government to support them with tractors to farm on time in the ensuing farming season.
According to the farmers, they usually follow up for tractor services till the farming period is over without having access to any.
Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Mr. Wulimenga Matthew, a farmer in the community, said the delay in farming affects crop yield and ultimately their economic fortunes.
Another farmer, Mr. Benjamin Waale, also appealed to the government and benevolent organizations to support them with tractors to help improve their farming activities.
Madam Rita George, who is into shea butter extraction business, called for a ready market for their shea butter products.
