“Which roads are we taking about, I have travelled the lengths and breadths of the Region, there is no doubt that every Government does their part, when you mention construction what do you mean by construction, tarred road or surfacing?, Sometimes when they say construction, what they mean is to spread gravel, that is resurfacing but that is also construction”.

He referred back to 2021 when the Government promised to construct bridges yet could not fulfill the Promise

“In 2021 our roads were washed away by Flood, they promised to fix the roads and construct bridges, have those bridges been constructed?, They came and did the usual culvets, when is rained previously, I was at South Africa but saw people posting roads on social media, Communication Secretary of PNC, Ishaq Awudu, the last time he posted the Road leading to Jonga, he had expressed frustration with every Government and prayed to work on the road by himself and instead of acknowledging that the deficit is enormous, we are here praising ourselves for tokenism.”
