
The National Democratic Congress’s Wa West Bureau has issued some conditions to the newly elected New Patriotic Party executives to act upon.

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE NPP IN WA WEST CONSTITUENCY
The Constituency Executive Committee of Wa West NDC congratulates the New Patriotic Party for organizing a relatively peaceful and Successful elections in the District. It is worth stressing that it is a victory for the Values and Traditions of the Constituency. The influence of which made the Wa West elections somewhat distinct from NPP elections organized in other parts of the country.
As a party, we called on the newly elected Executives to support the political Leadership to carry out the Development needs of our dear district. Your support of the DCE especially will encourage her to reach out to the President to fulfill the social contract entered into with the people of Wa West and other Challenges of the District.
That is:
1. One District one Factory
2. To construct the rest of the un-dug dugouts
3. Complete the Gurungu, Vieri and Eggu Health Centers
4. Wa – Dorimon and the Ga – Wechiau roads are yet to be tarred
5. At least Government ought to be resurrected on the need to continue with and complete the Gurungu, Meteu, Tendoma, Kawu and Varempere electrification projects such that the communities mentioned would also benefit from the national cake due them.
Diminution of the NPP as a political party is expected to be energized into offering an effective opposition through to 2025 when you exit power.
The NDC admonish the Victors to lead their party in offering constructive ideas to ensure the NDC through the MP Hon Peter Lanchene Toobu provide a better Representation of the people of Wa West.
Let us “Lanchene” to address the Socio-economic challenges and build a New Brand of Wa West.
Once again congratulations to the Winners and Better luck to the Losers.
