A Student of Varempere in Wa West district of upper west was murdered and brutally cut into pieces with a cutlass by unknown people and after which her head was smashed with a stone in cold blood.

Information reaching upperwestmedia.net indicates the said girl was pregnant and her step father was suspected to be responsible for the pregnancy, her teachers tried all they could to let her disclose who was responsible but all to no avail.

She was found dead yesterday under a tree in varepere near vieri.

Her step father after interrogation with the police confessed the girl said she was going under a tree to rest and after a search conducted by the police ended up under the tree were the father directed she could be and she was found dead.

The case in currently at the Wa Police Station for further investigations.
