Voters of Dareguo Teng of Wa West District have decided not to vote in this year’s General Elections.

A Visit there shows that the people have lost interest in political activities in the district, the residents claim their water system is poor, they have no jobs and yet no one seems to care about their plight. They think all political parties are the same and have decided not to vote in this 2016 election in order for their voices to be heard.

Out of 286 registered voters in Dareguo Teng in the Wa West District, only 16 voters turned out to exhibit their franchise in the area.

The turnout has been very low as upperwestmedia visited the scene to observe the voting excercise.
