After Series of Serial Killings were recorded in Wa a Year Ago, arrests were made by the former Upper West Regional Police Commander, DCOP Peter Ndekugri Before his retirement.

A major Suspect that was Apprehended was Kankani Adongo in Bamahu, a Suburb of Wa Municipality, some items in his possession were human parts.

He was Arrested on 19th September 2022 by the Ghana Police Service.

The Suspect was Paraded before Wa Naa, Naa Fuseini Pelpuo IV before he was taken away by the police. About 18 people were arrested over the murder of 12 security and mentally deranged men.

Checks by Upper West Media Team at the Police Station as to the whereabout of Kankani Adongo provided the following feedback.

The Upper West Regional Public Relations Office headed by Chief Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng directed our team to the Regional crime Office. The Regional Crime Officer, ACP Manteaw Directed Upper West Media Team to the Courts.

The Team visited the High Court, Circuit court before arriving at the District Court, we were told his case is with the Wa District Court and per the Right to information Law, 2019, Upper West Media Team has written to the Registrar for more information.
