A group of Sissala Youth from the Sissala East Municipality have called for their ambulance with immediate effect admitting they’ve not seen theirs since the distribution took place on 29th January 2020.
According to one of the Gentlemen, Mr. Balu Mohammed, the ambulance for Sissala East has not been brought to the Municipality for onward health activities to take place.
According to them, this has left them in a state of doubt whether they are also entitled to one of the Ambulances.
Some other group of individuals alleged the Ambulance was brought into the region but was being used at the Regional Ambulance division for running errands.
Checks at the Regional Ambulance division proved the Ambulance isn’t at the Regional Ambulance division. The Daffiama-Busie-Issa District also expressed their concerns over the absence of their ambulance after the distribution.
Findings proved 8 Ambulances were brought into the Region instead of eleven. Two other ambulances expected are to be allocated to the region to serve The Wa Airport and the the UDS clinic in Wa.
