The Electoral Commission of Ghana has decided to pay off officers who part took in the exhibition exercise. These officers who started the exercise from 18th July And ended on 7th Of August 2016 had to wait for almost 3 weeks to get paid their allowances. Verification officers are to take Ghs 550.00 and Exhibition Officers to take Ghs 600.0, Returning Officers are also to take Ghs 700.00. The allowances were supposed to be paid on Friday 26th August 2016 but due to registrations taking place the payment has been shifted to 29th of August 2016 which is on Monday.
