UW: How Lawyer Badombie Resigned as Student Rep in 2012

A Former Class Mate of Lawyer Badombie,  Osagyefo Oliver Barker-Vomawor has narrated how his former friend,  Late Badombie was so principled and objective as a leader back in school.

According to Oliver Barker-Vormawor, his former mate,  Late Lawyer Badombie breached a Constitutional Provision when he was President of Law Students Union in 2012 and as a result resigned from his position as President ,  Mr. Oliver added that they used to tease Lawyer Badombie who was also their class rep for that reason at University of Ghana,  Legon.

“Richard was our class rep for the entire time. He became President of the Law Students Union, until myself and others forced him to resign because he had breached the Union’s Constitution.”

Statement

“NOTICE OF RESIGNATION

Pursuant to article 9(3) of the LSU Constitution (this article requires that an executive member wishing to resign should give a 14-day notice), I hereby give notice of my intention
to resign my post as President of the Union fourteen days from today, 22 October, 2012 When the right hand is swollen, a wise man should jealously guard against injury to the left.
No cow likes grazing on dry pastures with many flies. I have also heard that when the frog in front falls into a pit, others behind take caution.
By this notice, anyone interested in knowing how 1 have handled the finances of the Union
should please contact the Treasurer of the Union before the lapse of the fourteen days.”

The Late Richard Badombie who was a Lawyer Died on the 28th of May Between Banda Nkwanta and Nuoyiri after he was shot by Unknown men on his Wa to Jirapa in the Upper West Region.

The New Patriotic Party’s Jirapa Branch has urged the Upper West Regional Minister and Savannah Regional Police Command to bring the culprits to book.
