In the early hours of Monday 15th November, 2021, the Outgoing Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Martin Domotiere Bomba-Ire in a very short ceremony involving staff of the Lawra Municipal Assembly and some heads of departments handed over the administration of the Municipal Assembly to Hon Jecob Domekakpier Dery the President’s nominee who was confirmed some few days ago as the Lawra Municipal Chief Executive.

Hon Martin Bomba-Ire handed over about 364 completed and ongoing projects and programs in the Municipality spreading from 2017 to 2021 when he was the Municipal Chief Executive.

The projects and programs covered health, education, Agric, electrification, water and sanitation, roads etc.

He sincerely thanked the staffs for the unflinching support and cooperation accorded him during his tenure in the office

He also used the opportunity to appeal to the officers to support the new MCE to achieve his vision of the Municipality since he has very little time available.
