Contractors numbering 30 who provided sanitation services such as the construction of toilet facilities and mechanized borehole facilities (borehole with overhead thanks) have since not received payment for work done.

It is understood that the contractors are card-bearing members or loyalists to the New Patriotic Party (NPP). The contractors immediately went in for bank loans with an agreement to pay off after six months a period in which payment might have been received from the government.
Interesting there are some bigwigs including executives of the path who are believed to be members of the affected contractors.
They are fast becoming reference points by some critique of the government who are of the view that their government has disappointed them.
The contracts were awarded by the Northern Development Authority (NDA) under the auspices of the Ministry of Special Development Initiative.
The contractors have honored the six-month contract terms and for over two years they are yet to hear from authorities regarding payment.
The beneficiary communities for the project include Charingu, Yibile, Kadowli, Tampini, Boli, Tagarayiri, Kabanyi, Dondoli, and others.
The pressure from the Bank is another headache the contractors are also facing. The aggrieved contractors are worried why their jobs that constitute the party achievement to break the eight is becoming a mockery.
They are therefore giving the government a one-month ultimatum to process and make a payment or they will take action that will damage the image of the party.
For the attention of the media house, you can contact this number who agreed to speak for the contractors.
