The Upper Regional Police Command has disclosed its intention to auction all unclaimed motorbikes/vehicles it has impounded to decongest its premises.

In a press release dated 8th March, 2022 and signed by the head of the Public Affairs Unit, Mr. Gideon Ohene Boateng, the statement said “The upper West Regional police command wishes to inform the general public of its intention to auction all unclaimed motorbikes/ vehicles within its jurisdiction”.

“Anyone whose motorbike/vehicle has been impounded is reminded to visit the premises of the Regional Police Headquarters/Wa Division and Districts within the Region with relevant documents for identification and collection of same”. The statement directed.

It added that “All unclaimed motorbikes/vehicles impounded would be auctioned after twenty-one (21) days effective today Tuesday March 8, 2022 to decongest the premises”.
