Some Residents within Kpongu in the Wa Municipality have expressed distaste with a Label bearing ‘Algeria’ on their GPS Plates issues by Government.
According some displeased residents speaking to Upperwestmedia Team, the Name Tagg does not define them and carries no message pertaining to the community.
Algeria is an African Country in the North of Africa.
Speaking to the Assembly Member for Kpongu Electoral Area, Hon. Kawabdeen Shaibu, he explained:
I don’t even know who is responsible, We only saw them plating them on our walls.
There’s a variation on most of the GPS that was provided by Agmal Malaria Control and those of us who used smart phones to generate the GPS at the time of ECOWAS card community based registration.
None of the stakeholders were aware or inform about anything, they just storm the community on one faithful afternoon.”
