Some Stray Elephants numbering two in the Diie Community within Jirapa Municipality have caused fear and agitations.

The huge Mammals per the Assembly Man have been in the community since morning. Hon. Cornilious Zumesegee explained that some Residents attempted taking pictures with the animals but due to their horrendous nature as at the afternoon time, he advised that his people should not go close to the elephants.

He continued that efforts have been put in place to invite some police officers and the Wildlife Authorities to intervene by providing food and water for the animals.

Hon. Cornilious Zumesegee concluded in an interview with Gangaa FM’s  Marcelinus, he had no idea of where or the direction the animals came from.
