On the 21stof March 2022, a Rainstorm ripped off roofing sheets of a Girls Dormitory within Lawra SHS.

Earlier this morning, 24th March 2022, the Hon. Member of Parliament for Lawra Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Bede Ziedeng, sent a delegation, led by the Lawra constituency NDC chairman, Hon. Joshua Lotaa, to commiserate with the staff and students of the Lawra SHS school and to assess the extent of the damage caused by the violent rain storm on the Girls dormitory of the school.

The Headmaster of the school, Alhaji Tungbani Seidu, took the delegation to the disaster scene and also took the opportunity to inform the MP’s delegation about other challenges confronting the Lawra Senior High school.
The Headmaster of the school was grateful to the delegation for coming to sympathize with them in their moments of tribulations.
